Radio Interview: Feel Good With Melanie & The FAQ Guys (22nd Jan, 1.30PM SGT)

Hear ye! Hear ye! Andrew and I have been invited again to the local radio station (938LIVE) for another live interview with Melanie Oliveiro. She is the anchor of F-CUBE: Food, Fun & Feel Good, a lifestyle oriented radio show that is highly popular with Singaporeans, young and old.
We have yet to get the questions from Melanie but I do know that the talk will be on The FAQ Book on Public Speaking and our after thoughts. So if you are in Singapore, come join us for a chill out session! Click here to listen live.
Read on if you are keen to know what the latest news on our book.

It has been almost 30 days since our FAQ Book Launch Party and we have sold about a whopping 720 books (100+ from the book launch and the rest from corporate and school orders!)
And here’s the best part, our books are not even out on bookstores yet… which I have to apologize for. Because of the New Year Day and the upcoming Chinese New Year, buyers from the major bookstores have been slow to send in their purchase orders. Till date, we have confirmed orders with Popular, Borders, Page One and Harris Bookstore. So hang in there, you will be albe to buy them really soon.
Alternatively, you can get your copy of The FAQ Book on Public Speaking in Geek Terminal or Decoders Cafe. We have extended the X’mas offer till 31st Jan 2008. So if you buy now, you are entitled to a 20% off the retail price of $19.90. Believe me, you won’t get this deal again.
We have also recently been approached by a number of corporate companies to run a public speaking awareness programs for their staff, all thanks to our book. The first one will be happening this Feb with DP Architects! They are responsible for designing and building several of Singapore landmark buildings, for example The Suntec City, The Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, Bugis Junction, Vivo City etc. So yes, we are very honoured to be able to work with them.
For DP, it’s going to be an one hour talk packed with speaking games and a 20 mins Q&A session where they can ask us any questions under the sun relating to public speaking. I will definitely share with you the highlights after the event.
Meanwhile, check out the blog entry below if you have not done so. Take care!
Cheers,
Eric Feng

Afternote
It was so embarassing… because Andrew and I were late. The interview was suppose to start at 1.45pm and we were there on the dot, which did not work for Melanie. In the end, King Koll saved the day. They have this really long advertisement which allow us to settle in and get ready… PHEW!
For those of you who have listened to us on the radio, hope you had fun! We sure did. And I think this is the first time you heard Kelvin too right, my co-author and mentor? A good friend of mine Gabriel has helped me record the interview. Cross your fingers and pray that it works. Else I will have to beg Melanie to send me a copy.
Oh by the way, we gave away 6 autographed FAQ books to Melanie. She will be playing a game with her listeners and if you win, you get to have a copy for free. So do participate and have fun with it!
Check out a random picture we took.

As Melanie has to rush to read the news (which she did wonderfully), we could only take a picture of ourselves. Here’s the team - Andrew, Kelvin and me!

Ohh, thanks for the reduction.19$ is an unbelievable price.
