Ten Steps To Becoming A Better Speaker

Speak.
Speak more.
Speak even more.
Speak even more than that.
Speak when you don’t want to.
Speak when you do.
Speak when you have something to say.
Speak when you don’t.
Speak all the time.
Keep speaking.

Cheers,
Eric Feng

  1. They are 9 great points.

I must disagree with the point about speaking when you don;t have anything to say. That is the time to stop speaking. If you don’t have a message to get across, then there is no need for any public speaking.

True Darren from your point of view. What I meant is when you realize you have nothing to say (i.e. no inspiration, no content), you should not use that as an excuse to not speak. What I should add is that you should go out there and find something worthy to say!
