The FAQ Book on Public Speaking Was Featured On Business Week

No kidding.

The book was mentioned on Business Week two weeks ago (16th Nov), along with me (ahem) as one of the top 25 young entrepreneurs in Asia.

I am flattered of course, thankful as well. But more flattered than anything else because Business Week is one of the most prestigious and highly regarded magazine in the world read by business leaders from across the continents. And to be featured on the magazine is like winning a lottery… twice in a row!

You must be wondering right now how Business Week found out about me and the book right?

Here’s how.

BusinessWeek.com polled their readers to nominate their candidates for the best young entrepreneurs in the Asia-Pacific region. (I have no idea about this) And then after a few weeks, I got an email from the editor (Sonal), informing me that I have been shortlisted as one of the top 25 entrepreneurs in Asia.

The first question that ran into my head immediately was “Is this some kind of SPAM email?”

And even after confirming the authenticity of the email, I was still doubtful, “Is it Asia? Or just Singapore?” Because being in the top 25 is a BIG thing and I know of many peers who should be on that list as well.

Nonetheless, I am thankful.

And I immediately thought of you.

If not for you, I won’t have started this blog that is growing at a phenomenal rate.
If not for you, I won’t even thought about running public speaking workshops that are happening on a monthly basis right now.
If not for you, I won’t be writing The FAQ Book on Public Speaking which is finally going to be released end of this year.

As you can tell, I have A LOT to be thankful for…

I will continue to serve you as best as I can because you are sooooooooo worth it!

With heartfelt thanks & gratitude,

P.S: Business Week has invited their readers to vote for their favorite. And if you think I deserved to be your favorite, vote for me. (Eric Feng)

P.P.S: And here’s the article with the slideshow featuring the other 24 top entrepreneurs in Asia.
